Squakenet version Ten

In gaming history very few series managed to arrive to number ten. And in web site history? well, honestly I do not know, neither I had the time to make a search since in the last weeks we've been so busy with our 10th version. Yes, as you probably have seen from the home page we've just released Squakenet version 10!!

I am very glad to announce you our new dress that will open several surprises during next months. First of all you can see the new home page where we wanted to put more attention on the different new things coming along the web site: there are different modules containing the latest news from our abandonware portal and a very nice slider whose goal is to highlight each month new interesting games coming out from abandonware world.

The second change you already noticed during the last months is the introduction of weekly and monthly most downloaded games, so that you can know which are the most popular games recenlty. Moreover we decided to add some new "special" pages. Besides Top 100 download and Top 100 rated we added Top 100 Gog games and Latest 100 games so we can always know which are the latest introduction in Squakenet: we say goodbye to our survey Bomb Games, after 10 years of great work!

The most exciting change is in each game page. Here you will be able to enjoy the new navigation system, first of all for user review: multi-review finally added and the possibility to rate and give a title when writing a new review, I suggest you to try it out. Then, the new dress for similar games, now with a preview image and the new nicer screenshot slideshow: enjoy going back and forth the several images we propose.

This new version come with very nice surprises coming along next weeks. Stay tuned using our twitter or following the blog because this is our 10th year of life so we want to celebrate properly with all of you!

See you around,
Squake.
